Aldershot Town and AFC Fylde have had their National League embargoes lifted, allowing them to continue with transfers and player signings. The embargoes were placed due to non-compliance with league financial regulations. Aldershot Town is currently 9th in the National League, with 3 points from 1 game, and a recent form of W. They have scored 1 goal and conceded 0 this season. Their next fixture is against Tamworth on February 13, 2027, away from home. AFC Fylde, on the other hand, have confirmed that their National League embargo has now been lifted. The Coasters were one of six clubs placed under embargo on Tuesday of this week for what was termed as ‘non-compliance with league financial regulations’. One of those clubs, Altrincham, had theirs lifted on Wednesday with Fylde and Aldershot Town having the same outcome on Thursday. A statement from Mill Farm on Wednesday morning had said Fylde’s embargo related to the late submission of financial information. It added that the matter was expected to be resolved imminently, which proved to be the case. The club released another statement on Thursday evening, which read: “Following today’s submission of the necessary paperwork, AFC Fylde can now confirm that the temporary transfer embargo placed on the club by the National League has now been lifted.
