Aldershot Town have signed goalkeeper Nick Hayes and winger Hakeem Sandah in a bid to strengthen their squad. Hayes, 27, joins the Shots after spending the second half of last season with Hartlepool United. He has played 102 times in the National League with Pools, Southend United, Solihull Moors and Barnet, and twice played in the play-off final. Sandah, 21, arrives from National League South neighbours Farnborough, where he won the player of the season award. The signings are a boost for Aldershot Town, who are looking to improve their chances of promotion to the Football League. Hayes and Sandah will be looking to make an immediate impact at the club and help the Shots climb the league table.
