Aldershot Town have signed central defender Jack Matton on a season-long loan from Wycombe Wanderers. The 20-year-old has made two senior appearances for the Chairboys, scoring on his debut in a 3-0 win against Gillingham in the EFL Trophy in November. He made his League One debut on the final day of the 2025-26 season in a 3-2 home win over Rotherham United. Matton has had previous loan spells in non-league with Bracknell Town, Hanwell Town and Tonbridge Angels. New Shots boss Scott Davies, who had two spells at Wycombe himself, told the club website, "Jack is held in such high regard by his parent club so to get him on loan with us is a great bit of business. At 6ft 4in, Jack will be a real presence within our back line and I'm grateful to our friends at Wycombe for entrusting us with the next stage of his development."
