Aldershot Town will wrap up their pre-season preparations today with a trip to Braintree Town at Cressing Road (3pm kick-off). The Shots head into the final friendly on the back of an impressive campaign, securing five wins, one draw and just one loss from seven matches. Next up, they face Tamworth away on February 13, 2027, in their next league fixture.
Aldershot Town began their pre-season with a 2-0 victory over Badshot Lea, followed by a 0-0 draw with Bedford Town. They then secured a 2-0 win at Fleet Town before a standout performance against Championship side Portsmouth, winning 2-0 at home. Further victories came against Farnborough (2-1) and Hanwell Town (2-0), with their only defeat a 3-1 loss to Oxford United.
The strong pre-season form suggests Aldershot Town are in good shape ahead of their National League campaign. Their next fixture, an away trip to Tamworth on February 13, 2027, will be a key test as they look to build on their momentum.
After today’s clash with Braintree Town, Aldershot Town will shift their focus to the upcoming National League season. Their first league match is against Boston United on August 8, but they will next face Tamworth away on February 13, 2027, in their next league fixture.
