Yeovil manager Billy Rowley felt his team's performance merited more. "For the performance tonight and the connection with the supporters and the heart and grit we’ve showed it feels like a win," he said. Rowley also praised Spasov for his contribution, adding, "I’m really really happy for Slavi to score, he’s the model pro and he’s such a good lad, and we’ve not seen the best of him yet."
The result keeps Aldershot Town fifth in the National League table with 15 points from their opening eight games.
